Do sleep supplements work?
Sleep supplements. They seem so seductive, so potent, and the answer to all your questions. Sometimes, this is too good to be true!
Do sleep supplements work?
Here's the truth about supplements. Most of the time, our body is in need of extra help, and supplements come in very handy. If you have mild insomnia, then yes, a sleep supplement can help
Some people don't have an issue with that. They absorb it, it works and very often they are quite healthy anyway.
However, what we see is that a lot of people have so many underlying issues that the supplements alone aren't going to be enough. One main issue that we are seeing is that people are not actually absorbing the ingredients that are in supplements.
That is where your cellular health comes into play, which is why we want a hair tissue mineral analysis, which is basically looking at the health status of your cell and how your cell is absorbing. Because what's the point, if you are popping pills and pills of magnesium if your cells are not absorbing it, and it's just leaking out?! You are literally throwing your money away.
Body imbalances
If there are so many imbalances in your body; your body has issues communicating amongst all the different organisms in itself, and a bit of supplementation is not going to be able to help your body regain balance.
So, if you are considering supplementation, I do suggest that you try it for a certain amount of time. But if you have had insomnia for years, I would really advise you not to get your hopes up too much and stay realistic about it.
If you already had everything checked out, and you’ve rebalanced your body and made sure that you've got your body working and made sure that your hormones are balanced, a sleep supplement might be just what you need, especially in stressful times.
There is a time and place for everything.
